Let's plan your air, ground, and lodging arrangements before and after your cruise!
For your peace of mind, if you are flying in, it's best to fly in the day before boarding the ship. If there is any flight delay, this could cause you to miss the boat, LITERALLY. The ship does not wait for anyone!
Plan your departure flight time accordingly to ensure that you have time to get off the ship and get to the airport in time to get through check-in, security, etc. and not be stressed! No need to create stress at the end of your trip!
The Fort Lauderdale Airport is SUPER close to the Port and is the obvious choice for flying in, if possible.
Celebrity Cruises offers transfers from FLL and MIA to the port of Fort Lauderdale. Transfers via Royal Caribbean are only available to guests:
flying in on Embarkation Day
flying out on Disembarkation Day
These transfers can be booked with your reservation.
Option 1: Come in the day before and stay at a hotel. then you are super close to the port!
Option 2: Train to Port on Brightline (Local Train): https://www.gobrightline.com - YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!
Why stress about traffic and parking? With Brightline’s convenient train service, you’ll arrive at the cruise port relaxed and ready for your adventure. It’s the smoothest way to transition from city to sea. Brightline is far from your ordinary train ride. Enjoy comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, a variety of food and beverage options, and friendly service. All designed to make your trip as pleasurable as your cruise. Opt for Brightline+ services, designed to take you from train to cruise ship—or vice versa—with zero hassle. Secure your transit arrangements in advance and set the stage for a relaxed, carefree voyage from the moment you step aboard our train.
Option 3: Take an Uber or Lyft from the airport. The price is similar to what you would pay for the Celebrity Transfer, but you are not at the mercy of the herd filling the bus.
